Sic4rio is one of the most sought-after rappers in the Swiss music scene. His street attitude is celebrated by fans and loyally supported on social media. The masked rapper from Zurich's Kreis 4 flows stylishly over every rhythm and ensures that fans sing along at every concert with his gripping style.
Even in his early years, he diligently worked on lyrics and nodded to old-school beats. From a love for hiphop a passionate hobby developed in a short time, which had a special level of quality from the beginning due to high talent. After Sic4rio hesitantly showed the written lyrics to his friends, they immediately encouraged him to record them in the music studio. Sic4rio let himself be persuaded to a studio appointment and recorded some of the lyrics in the "Jugitreff 4".
These recordings were distributed on WhatsApp throughout the neighborhood within a few weeks. The response was huge and Viertelmusik quickly took notice of him. The label recognized his potential and immediately organized a video shoot for the unreleased song "Kopfnickersound". The then still modest expectations for Sic4rio were exceeded by far and the young Zurich native used the attention to release new songs. Currently Sic4rio's name is on everyone's lips and for many of his fans it is impossible to imagine the Swiss rap scene without him.
Zurich rapper Pisko grew up in an area that has earned a dubious reputation throughout Switzerland: The red-light milieu in Zurich's Kreis 4. The kind of business that went on there and still goes on every day is rarely found in Switzerland.
The broken world of the junkies, the hookers, the dealers, the long-term poverty and the fast-moving wealth are the things you have to observe as a little boy growing up in the middle of such areas. And these are the things that Pisko as a Zurich rapper reports in detail and relentlessly in his songs.
Pisko has often been in conflict with the law and therefore knows how to appreciate freedom. Already in his younger years he got to know the world of fast money, was confronted with uncompromisingness and drugs, got to feel police violence, and had to see how the bad influence of the area can drive people into ruin. But no matter what stressful situation he found himself in, music was his constant companion and a refuge to let his thoughts run free.
Pisko stands out from the crowd with his voice, tells gripping experiences on gripping beats, and is one of the few rappers from Switzerland who combine realness and street attitude on a professional level. 2022 saw the release of his "Piskopat" & "Summer 22" EP's, with which he was able to set a new bar in the Swiss hiphop industry.

The rapper from Zurich's Kreis 3 with Kosovar roots pays special attention to rhyme technique and wordplay in his lyrics. When it comes to hip-hop, the Friesenberger does not mince words and gives free rein to his creativity.
DENZHO has been a fan of hiphop himself for a long time and often wrote rap lyrics during school instead of listening to his teacher. When his written songs got positive feedback from colleagues, DENZHO (then known as Nissi3) decided to record the lyrics in a music studio. While searching for a cheap studio, he came across his old schoolmate "Turicum Beats", who was also intensively involved in hiphop and the production of beats.
Both were fascinated by the same thing and from now on they produced songs every week. One day Alvo03, Turicum Beats and DENZHO met for a studio session and recorded a song on a spontaneous basis. The rappers were immediately convinced by the final product and gave it the name "Züri City".
Within a week, a music video was shot and edited via smartphone, a cover was made and a promotion phase was organized. The song was a complete success and enabled the breakthrough for the two artists Alvo03 and DENZHO.
Alvo03 is a rapper of the special kind. His multifaceted talent enables him to find the right flow for every music style. Since the single "Züri City", the artist has released several singles and is often represented as a feature guest. Thanks to his Spanish roots, the rapper can also skilfully use the Spanish language when necessary and thus conjures up a diversity that is unparalleled.
The native of Friesenberg has a rap career like a picture book. What began with MTV and freestyles on the playground, developed into a passionate hobby that had a lasting impact on his youth. With an old laptop and Ipod headphones, Alvo03 recorded his first songs in his closet and taught himself how to operate the music programs. In his hood, Alvo03 was already known as a gifted freestyler before his breakthrough, which is why his boys called him the "flow tamer".
Then, as Alvo03 got older and perfected his skills, he sought the next level of his career and began self-releasing music on Youtube. Shortly after, the whole neighborhood was pumping his sound on continuous loop and his songs have greatly influenced younger rappers in Friesenberg.
Later, various rappers from the area teamed up with Alvo03 to release their music and build a shared community network on social media. This step eventually led to the founding of the Viertelmusik label, which aims to promote music from the surrounding neighborhoods and build a sustainable business out of music.
